I'm a beast race player and I can't help but feel that a lot of players have a stigma against those who play as he beast races. Anyone got any options on this?

Well, for the uninitiated to the Elder Scrolls Universe, there's probably a bleed effect happening when they see the Beast Races and assume "Furries". Also, from a in-game perspective, the Beast races have long been persecuted and enslaved.

For me personally, the Khajiit and especially the Argonians are so alien to me and my thought processes I can't imagine playing one for extended periods of time. I always roll Argonians and wander away from them in hours.

The people who are like that are "role playing" as their characters in the General Discussions board. Usually as Nords...if you'll notice the stereotypical depiction a Nord in Skyrim is that of a Proud arrogant white man who don't need no Empire.

Argonian's are the second most popular race on these forums according to most polls. And no one hates anyone for playing a certain race, they just dislike the race.
Lots of people who play as Dunmer dislike Argonians because Dunmer dislike Argonians for the most part.

The Argonians are actually usually second or first in favorite race. But there are a minority who idiotic claim beast race=furry. Which makes little sense to me as do most idiotic correlations.

Yeah, same here. I got Skyrim as my first TES game, and was fascinated by the beast races, as I usually am. Some of the Argonians can look a little freaky, but that is besides the point.
