So I'm escorting Esbern from Riften to Riverwood and as I'm about to begin my final descent into Riverwood, I'm approaching a Hunter while on my horse and he says "Hey!" and then bam! - He turns into a fricking werewolf and attacks me!!! I'm like no [censored] way! Thats awesome!

So it has me wondering, is this something that was recently implemented or has it been a part of the game for a while? And does it only happen at night? I've encountered these "Hunters" on Solsteim but never in Skyrim. And I've put in around 2000 hours total.

One thing for sure, I definitely wont approach any Hunters all nonchalant anymore!
