Copy of the the BBB complaint submitted to EA

If you care at all to know what EA thinks about this whole mess they assume that Microsoft will fix your achievements. Nope, they will not, they can't. So EA, Crytek, it falls solely on you to get me my achievements or I will never buy another Crytek game. I really do hope that we never see another Crysis game again.

@XboxSupport since @EA and @Crytek are not taking my BBB complaint seriously, they told me I have to come to you for help to get my cheevos.

@Doc_Rogers What achievement are we talking about here? ^JN

@XboxSupport1 The super solider difficulty achievements in @Crysis 2 and 3. I beat both games on SS first and didn't get the achievement

@Doc_Rogers Are you not seeing it on your console and on xbox.com?^JN

@XboxSupport1 no I am not, please, this is an ongoing complaint with @EA I complained to BBB, but EA says only MS can unlock the achievements.

@XboxSupport1 I've already turned around & made a new complaint with BBB against @EA & @Crytek about @Crysis because I know MS can't fix it.

@XboxSupport1 I know @EA is lying and that @Microsoft @Xbox can not unlock my missing @Crysis achievements bcause @Crytek makes broken games

@Doc_Rogers Sorry for the confusion mate, but that is not something we are able to do. What happens if you clear your cache?^JN

See! I even wrote to EA in my complaint that Microsoft Xbox could not fix this because I already reached out to them! Now make EA fix this for me!

I crusade for you all! Please follow in my footsteps and file complaints against EA to the BBB.

the onlt entity that can fix bugged achivments in crysis 3 is crytek. i think you are jumping the gun a bit in filing a complaint with the bbb.
the game hasnt even been out a month it takes time to fix some issues.

if your complaint focused soley on this one problem i think you should have waited. if your complaint was more broad about all the problems with crysis 3 then you are spot on in your timing. as it technically is a very broken product. i personally think it is a flaw in the development process crytek has been using since crysis 2 they have software they use so that as they develope the games for pc it automatically scales the game to both ps3 and xbox 360 when the old method would be to develop specifically for all platforms. they do this because it saves time. but any flaw in the software can result in many bugs in all platforms. i dont know this for sure just a hunch.

I felt robbed by SEGA and Gearbox, I was shown a product that wasn't the actual product. I felt taken advantage of because I am an Aliens fan and invested in the Collector's Edition, which by the way, should have included the lousy season pass. I will not buy the season pass for Aliens because of the con job SEGA and Gearbox pulled on consumers.

I felt cheated again by EA and Crytek with basically the same game as Crysis 2 with little improvements. The changes that were made were only made to dumb down the game for more casual players. With the introduction of the split energy bar in multiplayer it completely changes the balance of the game. Then Super Solider didn't unlock again! So this time I decided I was going to fight. And fight I shall because I am doing this for the consumer. Too often are we to just accept the fact that hey it's a game it will have bugs. Well we can only accept that so much, but how did this game make it pass certification with these systematic flaws?

So as a result I have gone to the BBB about these issues and more. I have been speaking with the BBB at length today. Their advice for my next step is to go the Federal Trade Commission. I am prepared to take this up with the FTC. Since the BBB has recommended I now report EA and Crytek to the FTC I have now contacted a class-action attorney to discuss the possible class-action lawsuit against EA and Crytek. There is definitive evidence of a defective product across two iterations is being sold by the hundreds of thousands. Crytek can offer no guarantee that any of these issues will be resolved. This is a very real thing and I ask those who wish to seek compensation in any way to contact me so that I may gather a list to submit to this attorney.

If you feel your consumer rights have been violated please take action. Please file complaints against EA and Crytek to the BBB and FTC. You have rights and you will be protected. United we will stand, together we will fight.

^^^

GH0STMERC,

I'm pretty sure Smizzle is frustrated with all the bugs in this unfinished game. There are truely too many to even list. I'm fed up of being beat down by either Lag, Hit Detection, Host Migrations, Appalling Kill Cams, Appalling Audio Syncs etc etc.

The list go's on and on.

What have Crytek been doing since March 2010 when Crysis 2 was released???

This isn't Crysis 3, it's Crysis 2.5.

Shambolic.

The systematic flaw in the achievements not unlocking is not the only issue brought forth to the BBB and soon to be FTC. There is going to be real action by real people in real suits. EA and Crytek have been selling a game with fundamental flaws across two iterations. There is definitive proof that EA and Crytek are selling hundreds of thousands of defective products.

Crytek can not fix the achievement glitch because it is a fundamental flaw that has been within the game since Crysis 2. It was not fixed there. It will not be fixed here. I have zero faith in Crytek correcting this because they couldn't do it before and have stated there is no guarantee that it will be fixed. Therefore, EA and Crytek are selling defective products and are okay with it.
