How many times do i have to say this?

You Don't have to clamber through all the anime mods to find the more western ones, there is a block content feature on the nexus

I personally don't use them, and I don't see me using them in the future, but people have the right to make what they want and upload what they want.
It does get a tad bit annoying at how many of them there are but still, no biggie.

People will make mods of what they want to add to the game. If you don't like them, you don't have to use them. But complaining about that they exist isn't going to accomplish anything.

I don't think that they think that. But apparently, there are mods that focus on that aspect of anime.

It's still like saying all fanfiction is slash fiction.

Skimpy armor mods likely trace their roots back to early rpgs themselves, not anime. Look at the box art for TES: Arena. You could completely remove all your avatars clothing in Arena if I remember right(might have been Daggerfall). Anime has nothing to do with it, and it bugs me when people blame sixy models, armors, or what have you on anime.

I generally adhere to the mantra of "to each his/her own", so they are free to do as they wish. However, I do find it immersion breaking, but of course that's just me.

Not really. I find them silly and out of place, but I don't give two [censored]s what people mod in their game.

This.

There's no accounting for taste.

What gets me is people who design nice weapon mods and take screenshots of them with their naked female PCs licking the sword or posing in some ridiculously sixualized manner. But since this is 99% of what constitutes "female warrior" art, apparently it's wildly popular.

It's the same thing that happens in hot rod magazines and their obligatory Woman in Bikini.

I have absolutely no faith in the modding community, but it's nothing to get upset about.

I have created a couple of characters based on Red Sonja. That definitely employs being clad in bikini mail. There is a version of ingame fur armor that is rather close, to start with.

On one hand I'm a huge fan of lore friendly mods, or at least mods that somewhat fit in with Skyrim.

On the other hand, I think some anime mods are really cool looking, albeit really over the top and sometimes too obnoxious.

On one hand I like roleplaying an actual person in Skyrim, usually using a lore friendly armor mod pack.

But on the other, walking around in an over the top outfit slicing every effin thing in sight with a sword 3 times as large as you is oh so satisfying.

My advice is, if you don't like anime mods, just block them on your profile, or simply ignore them. Some people like them, and you can't bend the world just to your desires and beliefs.
