Why do Redguard children have white skin? : V - Skyrim

Well, look at the Assassin's creed series.

Everyone may speak english but at least they have accents.

No idea why most Redguards could've have some sort of exotic/arabian accent.

They're not Arabian. They're more African. And I think an accent would be pretty cool.

Isn't Hammerfell like the middle east or something?

Because I think of Agrabah from Aladdin when I think of Hammerfell.

But Hammerfell has sands and sea and the culture doesn't seem African at all.

No. They're not Arabian or Middle Eastern. They're Africans, but their architecture is Middle Eastern.

It's not that Redguard kids are white. It's the fact that all children in Skyrim are Nords.

I guess adoption extends to NPCs as well.

Like many TES races Redguards are meant to be represent a mix between 2 or more different real life cultures, not a single one.

Redguards I think are a varying mix of Africans and what's perceived in Europe/US as medieval Moors. Hammerfel is like the North African Sahara

Nord model makes them a Nord. the same as a Skeever model would make them a Skeever.
