I have a computer that is Window XP. I never had a crash to desktop before. I do have mods but never had any problems with my mods. After updating to 1.8 I started to get silent crash to desktop and I am getting a error I never seen before. I get a Microsoft runtime error, I have to press ctrl+alt+delete to unfreeze my computer. I never had this problem before. I would think the update had something to do with it, but I made a new save game and I crash less, but I still crash a little and I still have not got that Microsoft runtime error with this new save game. I have Hearthfire and Dawnguard installed. Please does anyone know how to fix my old save games so I can play with it? I hate to start all over again, after I did a lot of quests. Plus I still get crash with this new save, more rare but I would love to play with my old save again. Please Help.
