I've heard about peculiarities with the volume in Skyrim since launch.

One of my main problems is the epic drum opening in the "Bethesda Softworks" logo intro screen thing is boomingly loud, but the main menu song is like a whisper in comparison. Sometimes when I'm starting a new game I'd like to get that music going loud.

But I don't know if it's a problem that only effects some. My rambling thoughts: Would a mod that makes the intro song louder work? Or is the relatively quiet theme song a problem with specific PC hardwares and would a mod like that make the theme song extra loud if this underlying problem were fixed? Would making the title song louder distort the music because maybe the song is normal sounding in it's file but quieter in Skyrim?

And I know the obvious response of "Turn your volume up!," but it's more a problem of equalizing the epic theme song in comparison to the rest of the game.
