Ok....

I am playing someone who is absolutely terrible with weapons and destruction magic. He can (if unavoidable) do a backstab on people, but at this point in my play through even that is incredibly weak.
He dabbles in illusion magic, and every thief skill.

The problem I'm having is trying to complete the Bleak Falls Barrow quest- I have no followers and my backstab isn't enough to killl the Overlord, I can't use illusion on draugr, and (I believe this is stupid and didn't know this before this play through) I can't pickpocket draugr either.

I can't think of a way to kill this draugr overlord and retrieve the dragon stone, I would get a follower, but that always interferes with my sneaking, which is the most important thing for this character.


Also I'm not sure what I'll do about dragons. I think the only possible thing would be to get a follower if I know I'm going to a dragon wall, or just run away if it just a random encounter.

Does anyone have any suggestions to my predicament, or any other pure thief related trouble?

Bash him with a dagger?

Hmm....you'll probably have to forgo it for now and get a decent companion. Either a mercenary or something.

Dabble in some Conjuration perhaps...

Hide in a corner and repeatedly use whatever summons that you can.

Just develop the character and come back later.
