One Hand vs Two Hand

Someone probably pointed this out already, but using 2h is pointless. The damage cap for 1h and 2h is the same. Given the fact that you can dual wield and up your dual speed by 50%, you do about 5x more damage with 1h compared to 2h. I think instead of literally mimicking the 1h perks to a T, 2h should have had better perks. Such as perking in speed increase. Just because it's 2h doesn't mean it should be painfully slow. I don't even think you can use elemental fury with a 2h, but I could be wrong. You should definitely be allowed to level up your attack speed with 2h and have counter block abilities. If you do a block-bash with a 2h weapon just as someone swings at you, it should let you do a counter slash/bash. Just a thought.

This may be true but nothing beats that feeling of cleaving someones clavicle with a battleaxe...plus with proper perks, every power attack can stagger every foe, i'm not sure the same applies to 1 hand.
Either way battleaxes are still the best

Its all preference of how you want your character. Swift strikes of 1 handed or the fearsome look of a Claymore.
