Mel Gibson dead?

Post » Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:01 pm

That's not his ex-wife, that's his girlfriend who is releasing the tapes. His ex has been defending him. Also, the tapes mean nothing, until they're admissible in court, as they're the biggest evidence against Mel at this point. Should the tapes be deemed tampered, they'd instantly be inadmissible. However, if they're genuine, then it's going to be damaging to Mel.

Also, Mel Gibson hates fake briasts.

Mel Gibson is [censored] awesome.

What Tiger Woods did was lame (apologize in that fake way, apologize to your wife if you want, i don't care/don't want to hear it) but Mel never backs down or apologizes hhah

Tiger was an [censored] and if I were his wife I would tell him to shove his apology up his ass, in public I would be more polite about it though.
And not apologising when you are clearly wrong is just ignorant or too proud to admit your wrong, I like people who stand their ground for what is right/they beleive in, I despise those who refuse to admit there is a problem and dont accept they are wrong/apologise when wrong.

Er, I never heard about this thing with his wife. My problem with him was more down to the antisemitism...

I blame that on his father not him.

I met Mel Gibson once. (he was in my town to shoot a movie and was hanging out at the bar)

He is shorter than me, but has more money. Not sure how I feel about that.

If you look at the height to money ratio, Tom Cruise is even worse. Whats up with that?

I understand that his upbringing plays a part in it, but there comes a point in everyone's life when you have to take responsibility for your own actions. Mel Gibson is 54, which is waaaay beyond that point.

:foodndrink: Absolutely, but I must say I thought braveheart was awful and probably of dubious historical value.

Well duh, that movie doesn't have any historical value at all, nor was it supposed to have any. It was simply meant to be awesome, which it was.

I don't think I've ever seen a Mel Gibson movie that I didn't like. The guy could be a nazi for all I care, doesn't make his movies any less enjoyable.

Does everyone forget the film that nullifies all this "hatred" for Mel?
The one film that will make you love the Gibsonator?...
MAVERICK!

Mel Gibson's career is no more dead than he is. This year he starred in "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edge_of_Darkness_(2010_film)" and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beaver_(film), which should appear shortly.

I'm not sure what is worse: that it's directed by jodi foster, that it stars mel gibson, or that it stars jodi foster.

Humorous as that comment is, I'm more interested in Edge of Darkness. You might remember the director from such films as Goldeneye, Casino Royale, and Mask of Zorro (ok, two out of three isn't bad, but he did also direct the original series of Edge of Darkness on which the movie is based...) And Mel has such a long history of being a great entertainer, I'm definitely going to see it. :D

You can netflix Edge of Darkness, I see it on there all the time. I simply have no interest in it.

I'm not expecting anything revolutionary, but I hear it's a decent revenge thriller, which just fits Gibson quite well.

With a name like The Beaver, and it starring Jodie Foster, I was assuming it was The Accused II.

this hasnt been the only time he's had outbursts like this hellmouth.

Because his Bipolar so no I doubt very much it is the only time. Real hard core racism the kind that comes from pure hate I'm right with you, the subtle kind that is not so obvious again right with you. Silly outbursts designed to shock or get to an individual, not a smart thing to do, but not quite the same.

A bipolar episode again the man needs help and understanding. You don't push or antagonize someone who is bipolar. Even good news can set them off.

I dislike most of his films Braveheart was a load of nonsense and that other piece of rubbish he did about the revolutionary war was even worse. The Passion should have stayed in the middle ages where it belongs.

But attacking someone with server mental health problems says more about the person doing the attack than the person coming under fire.

And I also laughed at the Southpark episode I'm not a PC loony, but they have a go at everything, but to start apply the same expectation of self control to someone who is not able, through no fault of their own to have that kind of control is pretty low.

Its funny all those who gut react "OMG his a razzist" are more prejudice then the guy they are attacking.

Braveheart had Sir William Wallace as the father of the future Edward 3rd of England through a liason with the queen. Actually Edward 3rd was born six or seven years after Wallace was killed.
I did think that Gibson's Hamlet was very good and totally unexpected after the Mad Max trilogy.
