Dragons, the new cliffracers?

As the title says, do you think the dragons are the new cliffracer hell we all know from the good old Morrowind times?

- They appear as ofthen as cliffracers
- They are as weak as cliffracers (even on master)
- They are annoying as cliffracers (you may avoid them/run away) but a) they will kill alot of NPCs making towns more lonely b)Even when far away, people like guards won't stop chasing them so most often you are forced to waste time for them

The vanilla dragon frequency is quite high so fast traveling just a few times results in another dragon attack. I don't see the sense behind that, if you wan't to have dragon encounters there are a lot of special locations where dragons rest (and can respawn?). It wouldn't have hurt to increase the minimum between random dragon encounters by about 500% (in a vanilla game).

We need a new saint to free Skyrim from dragons like we had Jiub. Problem: All NPCs from the starting scene are either dead or do not qualify for such an important task. What do you think?
