Do you think the leader of the civil war faction you oppose

Post » Wed Mar 20, 2013 4:06 am

So, as the civil war appears to be the topic of the week, I ask you this question.

I think in the end, Ulfric is a good man who merely wants what's best for Skyrim (Though I disagree with him)

I think he's an intolerant racist. Brynwulf is the better man.

I think that Ulfric has the best in his heart for the nords but he doesn't have that much love for non-nords and he is narrow-minded whn it comes to the Thalmor.

Ulfric is a good man who wants what is best for his people and his homeland. He is a veteran and he reclaimed the Reach for Skyrim and was chosen by the Greybeards, which has to mean something.

Tullius is a loyal and capable military commander who is simply doing his job.

Both men are equally good men, and would be great allies, but They're both ignorant of anyone who is not like them (Tullius doesn't give two [censored] for Nordic tradition). Ulfric is a bit racist, although he does tolerate the dunmer

Tullius is a genius for sure. A strong man who is capable of leading a Legion, who I believe cares for his people lower on the totem pole. I'd follow him into any battle for sure.

It's the people above him that I don't trust and can't bring myself to follow.

Agreed, But I think Tullius does deep down care for the nords (As he say's, he may not understand them, but respects them and loves there land.)

I wouldn't call either of them good men. Both will execute helpless prisoners, both plunge Skyrim into chaos. Both are more concerned with their little war than they are with the real threat to Skyrim. They might be good generals but they ain't good people.

I am sure if Ulfric did not need to worry about the war he would probably care a bit more. He basically gave an entire portion ofi his city to the dark elves. He treats argonians bad, but then again who doesn't?

Ulfric has a good point but the thing is his rebellion is giving the Thalmor evidence to arrest talos worshipers, essentially he is doing more harm for Talos worshipers then good.

Ulfric didn't give the Dunmer anything, it was his father or grandfather, can't remember which.

As I said, I agree with you. (After constant fighting on the Forum, i've acknowledged that Ulfric is Biased, not racist)

You can't blame him for things he doesn't know about.

Also, even if he did not give it to them, he still tolerated them. The grey quarter has been a part of wind helm since before the dunmer came, leading me to believe that it was once As good as the other quarters in the city. So wtf did the dunmer do to them?

If by leader you mean Tullius. Yes. If by leader you mean Titus Mede II. Yes. If by Leader you mean the ones actually controlling the policy of the empire? No. Besides Ocato, I can't recall a single council member who wasn't a greedy selfish jerk.

Actually before the red year the grey quarter was known as the snow quarter and only had nords in it if you believe npcs in windhelm.

...Except we never really saw more of the elder council beside Ocato, Jagar tharn and whats-his-face in skyrim.

How nice of them to evict the nords so that the dunmer could come live in the city.

Ulfric wants what is best for Ulfric. He stands to gain far more from his rebellion than Tulius does. His disguising of his ambitions and recruitment by false claims of the nature of Imperial cooperation with the dominion to send his people to die for his goals under the impression that they are serving Talos.

What is there a pocket dimension in windhelm somewhere where the nords just magically got housing from?

Honestly talos does not give a rat ass what side you fight for as long as you die in battle/ live like a "true" nord you got the keys to sovngarde hence why you see imperials and stormcloaks walking around there its the reason why I hate the "True son's/daughters of skyrim" talk from either side.

I think ulfric is a decent guy but I disagree with him.
