I think that Bethesda should add the snow elves as a race and give the opening of the game as that race a unique storyline and starting point and also add a new set of weapons and armor and material it seems as though the "modders" are making the game better than they have been!

The Snow Elves are few in number and the Falmer are still Vile creatures. Besides having multiple/unique quests for a specific race isn't Bethesda's thing. That's more like Fallout or Vampire the Masquerade.
Plus if they give the Snow Elves a unique beginning they'd have to do that for ALL the races. That isn't Beth's style.

If the game is set in the far far future where the Falmer have had time to evolve back into something more akin to their snow elf origins then I could live with that. But if its set just a few short years after Skyrim then no thanks. If people some how found another sect of snow elves then that's a maybe but its a bit of a stretch...

What sort of new materials? They could bring some back from the previous games but if they invent a new armor material that will stir the lore people by it not being mentioned in lore.
New weapons and armor is more explainable.
