One way to make Skyrim last longer

What one way would you suggest?

I'll start first then..
  • Play without fast travel because the journey matters, not the progress.
It's not important to complete 10 quests in one day compare to enjoying your time in the present time of the game!

I use the carriage and horse if needed.

I've always took my time with this game.Don't fast travel or rush through quests. Whatever i do though, skyrim doesn't hold my attention like the others do. I get bored in of skyrim quickly.

Play proper TES games like morrowind and oblivion. That way, skyrim can last for ages sat on your shelf. That's the best way to make it last. :)

That's pretty much the number one way. I never fast travel either, but, like you, I will use my horse and a carriage on occasion. Still have only completed one quest line with my current play through and am already level 46.

No fast travel is the number 1 way.

Also, whenever you are in town, don't take everyone's side quests, just take one or two every time you visit town. I play a bit of a nomad, so I spend very little time in town, it's made the whiterun part of my game last a while longer than any other character. :)

Horse: no fast travel. But if i m tired, i do fast travel, but only when i find my horse.
carriage: No horses = pay 10x the amount(mod) for cart service. I find it funny you only need to pay 50septims max, and a tomato cost 5x more than that...
