The bow is by a long mile the dumbest gimmick addition to the MP component of any game I have ever seen. It really serves no purpose, except to annoy other payers by one hit killing people in the foot -_-

I consider myself to be a fairly decent player. When I look at the scoreboard and see my team is losing by a mile with 3/4 of the team going 2-15, yet I'm going 20+ kills, I immediately know whats up. The bow. This thing promotes stagnant, cloaked game play with players going for that one lucky Youtube shot.

The amount of aim assist on the bow is also completely ridiculous. I have been killed by so many lucky cross-map shots with the arrow miraculously steering towards me, I cant even count. The amount of one hit kills against me by arrows that haven't even been drawn back even halfway is also crazy.

Sadly, this is the way the game is, and I will just have to make peace with that :/

PC, and I know that everyone will say 'PC does not have aim assist', but honestly, compare it to BF3's crossbow and tell me that the bow in C3 does not have aim assist.

There is no aim assist, Battlefield 3 has bullet drop.

^ I know that BF3 has bullet drop, what I meant was, if you are not 100% on target with the xbow in bf3 you will not even get a hit marker, nevermind a kill. In many instances in C3, you can pretty much miss your target and it will still hit-and kill. I have tried it myself.

It seems I svck with the bow, then. I almost never get OHK with it.
