Rules of the Assemblies ( Brought to you by the Enclave, may be edited )

1. War is always a possibility, ensure however that you are prepared to face the consequences. When attempting to conquer or wage war with other factions take distance and other geographical factors into consideration; for example, a west coast nation wishing to deploy it's navy to the east coast would have too do so by circumnavigating South America which would obviously have consequences for your plans.

The current agreed upon minimum period of time it would take to establish a proper state administration over a region in a total war scenario is a minimum of one territory (usually based upon pre-war/IRL geography) every four years when these geographic difficulties come into affect. This time is spent establishing proper administration, logistics etc of your region to ensure that it doesn't just fall apart after you move your troops on for your next conquest, during the four year period things are rebuilt, connection and trade-routes re-established and the local become accustomed (though not necessarily content) with your administration. If you act in spite of this ruling feel free too do so entirely in the knowledge that your recent conquest will be regarded by largely indefensible from attack by someone else; such are the perils of expansionist greed and biting off more than you can chew.

2. Do your best to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, it’s easier to read and understand and makes everything look better; in-addition it’s also hard to take delegates seriously that don’t use it.

3. Your representatives are still characters and individuals, keep this in mind.

4. Please inform the rest of us if you intend to leave.

5. Do not be overpowered, a point which cannot be enunciated any further. What constitutes as over-powered behavior will often be determined in the out-of-character threads and will be discussed accordingly; present your case for your actions as see fit.

For any questions, please refer to the OOC threads.

The Glorious City of Chicago, Throne of the Elder-Lord, Listener of Barnaky

Gray skies, dotted with thick clouds hang over the sprawling capital of the Midwestern Order. Hellions occasionally streak through the air over the tallest buildings of the city, as the commoners meander through the streets. Humvees traverse the mended roads that stretch long and far, between the structures reaching far into the sky. In defiance of the War that flattened it down into the dirt, Chicago has risen from its defeat, not in the way it was before the End, but in an ever greater splendor. Gothic-like constructs have replaced the skyscraqers of old like those in various brochures, producing a sensation, an air of hallowed grandeur. From these awe-inspiring buildings, small tubes jut, colored a light bluish hue, carrying electricity from the various substations throughout the land and city alike. Those sights, as well as the intermingling of the retro-futurism of the old-world incarnation of the marvelous capital and the Gothic elements, combine to form a rarely-seen union of both styles.

From the ashes it has grown and now it represents the power and prosperity, the glory even, of the Midwestern Order. Police, called Peacekeepers, patrol the streets garbed in standard uniform resembling a light combat armor. Some sections, far off from the heart of the city, are still being remedied. In those areas, workers such as Super Mutants, under the watch of Inquisitors, can be seen toiling for the betterment of the society they serve.

The focal point, the crown, of the entire postwar metropolis is the domain of the Elder-Lord, sole ruler of the lands and master of the Midwest, ordained by Barnaky himself. On the outside, it conjures an image of the luxurious, imposing castles and cathedrals of the time before, in lands such as England. The same tubes snake up from the ground into the side of the palace, furthering the distinct style. Walls enclose the structure, men are posted along them, ever watchful. A grand gate comprises the entrance, guardsmen see to all incoming parties. Inside, various beautiful paintings adorn the walls. More guardsmen, garbed in the completely unique Midwestern Power Armor, scout the halls, aides scurrying past. Among the inner chamber, a large, open hall sits. Massive banners sporting the light blue Order symbol, as well as the less-common black and gold, hang from the ceiling. At the center, a heavy mahogany table with plenty of room sits, awaiting the outsiders.

--------

Delegates will arrive however they choose, the Mississippi is open for travel as well as a remade O'Hare Airport. Then, too add, roads are available. All parties must disarm, they will not be allowed inside the lands of the Order if they do not, they will also be removed.
