Pro-tips for Anti-camping

Post » Wed Mar 20, 2013 9:04 pm

Recently I've noticed that after a few rounds of dominating a lobby in TDM the opposing team will all start camping using bows and such. It's fairly frustrating running around the map without spotting any enemies. Any of you top-end elites have a cure for their disease? I usually play alone, so not having teammates to call out positions they find being frequented is a problem.

Or should I just leave the lobby and stop pounding them?

well....that's just it you never really know when someone is camping until you either get killed by an INFURIATING arrow, see them in cloak or see them camping, or have a radar. Depends how much you expose your self for their camping to be effective, I use proxy alarm which can help in some cases when it pings off, and if I know that where I am is a prime camping area then that helps in tracking them down. But honestly camping is not too effective in crysis well against me anyway. But some things that I do is scout out areas that are well known camping spots with my visor and tag them, for example: on hydro the vents on each side of the map are prime places for bows, and snipers etc. But if you do get kiled by one like we all do keep a mental note on there whereabouts and if they are moving from there location. Don't run around without cloak on too often and if you want to approach a camper make sure you are in cloak and make it hard for them shoot at you like jumping, ledge grabbing, and doing confusing and deceptive or erratic movements. Having unlim sprint and jumping makes this easy.

I've noticed it too, sometimes it's just too difficulty to find enemies even when you have Max Radar. By the time you get to their position, they are dead.
