Hey I just made a Dunmer and got him to Windhelm, I plan on doing some quests here but would really like to get to Solstheim.
I always thought that there is no level requirement to go to the island, only to start the "MQ" but when I go to the Docks to hire a boat my only options are Dawnstar and Solitude.
Can anyone give me some advice? This character is level 2 and has not(and does not intend to) start the Skyrim MQ, I'm on the 360 so no alternate start mods for me but I'd just like for him to chill in Solstheim and eastern Skyrim.

Are you sure you're at the right boat?

Northern Maiden is the one you want.

I've only ever seen one extra boat that offers trips at the Windhelm Docks but I'll go check again right now, thanks for the reply.

Edit: YUP was just talking to the wrong guy, now I just feel silly. Dumb thread.
