I tend to think the child class thing may have been an oversight, since she's the only NPC in the game with an advlt character model that falls under it.

Also, she's not marked as essential, so she'd be the only "child" in the game that could be killed.

Her father dotes on her, and gives her a large allowance, which is why she can frequently be found exploring the market and window shopping at the jewelers.

Kleppr and Frabbi bicker often, and have it out for one another, but they appear to be alright parents, at least insofar as their interactions with their children. Kleppr and Frabbi are often short, but with each other, not you. The worst thing Kleppr ever does is attempt to withhold your reward from a delivery, and he ends up giving it to you anyway.
