Arming your spouse, yikes!

Post » Fri Mar 22, 2013 8:48 am

I have just married Sylgja (*sp) and want to arm her and clothe her with the best weapon and armour to defend the homestead against potential invasion.

She has also 'opened up shop' as a merchant (in my hearthfire house), if I was to give her super powerful gear would she end up 'selling' it (the game game re-setting itself after several days) and end up losing the gear?

Hope this makes sense.

ps. there seems to be an awful lot of sarky members on this forum recently, serious answers please.

As selling her own paraphernalia? If I remember correctly, nothing will be lost if given to either a wife or follower. Everything should remain inside their inventory.

Do i need to reverse pickpocket her or accept her as a follower and give her the item? or does it not matter?

Accept her as your follower and give her your items. It sounds safer this way.
