Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be a single mod that fixes how jumping / gravity works in Oblivion.

Granted, this is fantasy land, but I think it's kind of ridiculous that I can start running, jump into the air, and then move forwards/backwards/side-to-side while airborne as if I could fly and control the direction of travel.
I also find it obnoxious that I can just completely stop my forward momentum altogether!

I want to fix this.

I checked TES Nexus and found nothing. Are there any mods out there I am unaware of before I start this project (which I have no time for but it's annoying me like crazy)?

Thoughts?
