As we all know, the Fallout games can be incredibly immersive, so much so that people (like me), at times end up role playing without even realizing it and actually play out a true character. This definitely falls into what kind of gear you carry out into the wastes, and I'm just curious as to what your preferences are for exploring the mojave, whether it be because of the way they look, or the usefulness of the gear.

For me, I play as a female character in Bethesda RPG's, because I personally find them to be just nicer to look at when playing in third person. I usually wear the Ranger Vest Outfit with Authority glasses, and my choice for weapons are usually the Anti Material Rifle, Hunting Shotgun(fully modded), and either Maria or the Mysterious Magnum as my sidearm. I also tend to carry a combat knife, or the Ballistic Fist for pure awesomeness, and a silenced 12mm pistol for stealth situations. And on the strip I always go with the Dapper Gambler Suit and a fully modded 10mm Pistol.
