To be fair, that has happened quite a few times in history. American revolutionary war for instance, Hessian prisoners of war captured during the course of the fighting were released following the end of the war and given the chance to stay or return to their homes. Quite a few stayed.

That said, I certainly don't think the Enclave should have any meaningful presence within the NCR. There can't be that many there anyway. Certainly not enough to form a full state. If there is any Enclave remnants, they should just be random old individuals like the remnants in New Vegas.

While that is true, I just don't see the Enclave of all people doing that. Their mind set just wouldn't allow it I think. Seems a bit out of character for them.

Exactly. If anything, they should just be remnants in hiding like they were in New Vegas.

The Midwest views mutants as lesser beings. They're used everywhere though and aren't all killed off.

I have to say, I read that entire post Fish, and it was flat-out amazing. Great work. Maxwell will have a barrel of fun talking to the Godking.

You know what would be a grand old time? The Elder-Lord and the Godking speaking to each other about their deities. Barnaky vs. Avt.
Why thank you Ranger, I'm flattered. There was supposed to be a bit of combat in the first segment but I had to cut it out to save some time.

That actually would be a grand old time, some nice discussion on fictional Gods. Ymmuri religion actually accepts that other deities exist, too, just in the form of Narut'i, or lesser gods.

True I remembered during an APUSH reading that many Hessians became American citizens because of a better life.....at least that's what it said. Need to check. :P

It's more like the ones in the prisons were freed, old Enclave and the descendants who's age vary. When NCR no longer prosecuted the Enclave, many of those who hided there affiliation went out and many moved to Richardson.

Lockheart was a descendant of an Enclave biomedical scientist and shrouded her affiliation secretly until NCR stopped searching for them. When she became the 3rd Head of the DSI, that is when she came out of the closet on 2282 :P

Oh and nice post Fish. :) Going to reply. NCR is going to be shocked and surprised.

You're very welcome my friend. It was a long read, but it was excellent. Paced well with perfect description. I really do like the Godking as a character. I would have loved seeing that in there as well, no matter though, save it for another day.

See, I was thinking so. I'm not sure how accepting Maxwell would be but it'd be a great thing to try out.

Very much agreed. We can't swarm the newcomers, it gets crazy.
