How silly... There is a mod that fixes it, but I want the devs to fix it. @Eayri: This bug occurrs after installing hearthfire if you have not finished upgrading breezehome, the alchemy lab never properly updates when you purchase it.

Oh! That sounds horrible. I haven't actually touched the vanilla houses since getting Hearthfire, so never came across that bug. Does indeed sound very annoying though. :(

Chances are it won't be fixed because DLC aren't patched, and it's a DLC issue.

There is a mod called the unofficial hearthfire patch that fixes it. My beef is that if a modder can fix it in a couple days, why can't a dev fix it?

I'm pretty sure that was fixed in the 1.8 update. Or some update before 1.9.

On a funny note Serana seems to be able to sit inside the alchemy lab, which is very detracting when i'm trying to make potions.

Sounds like someone should be able to upgrade the entire house then.

Dawnguard will break it, but Hearthfire fixes it.

I just looked at the update notes for 1.8 and it doesn't say anything about that
