imho def yes.. cos:

1. even much older games(e.g. unreal tournament) let you change the FoV in game option to suit the monitor size, screen resolution or personal preference

2. you are allowed to manually change the FoV in crysis 2 or crysis 3 by editing autoexec.cfg or system.cfg

3. most decent mp players(90+%?) already use manual FoV
