im getting f***ing annoyed at people saying "i hope you get cancer" or "im gonna hack your account your ******* hacker" just for killing them even once!

can anyone tell me how to turn off the text chat in the mp game OR change my name from my origin accounts actual name??

edit: i should also mention i have had friends who've died from cancer (only two but still two too many) so i dont find "trash talk" like that particularly in the spirit of competitiveness or good taste even in general life

I don't think it's possible to turn it off, but you can change your account name in Origin(which should change it in-game as well), every 7 days to be more exact.

so my ingame name would still be my origin name? thats a shame bf3 and blops 2 allow no text chat if you dont want to read half the garbage people spout but not C3? maybe next patch?
