Slavery in the Aldmeri Dominon

Post » Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:26 am

I was thinking about this, since we humans and beastfolks(except Khajiits) are considered "inferior, insolent and unworthy" creatures in the eyes of the Thalmor do you thinking they could be enslaving other races and forcing them to work against their will at this very moment or in the future?

Personally if I were a Thalmor leader who despises humanity I see fit to make them do all the dangerous and cruel tasks to help rebuild the economy and society of the Dominion seeing as how it took a downward spiral after the Great War. The one thing that the Dominion has over the Empire is complete and utter ruthlessness. Unlike the Empire who is still trying to maintain as much justice and honor as it has left, the Dominion will stop at nothing and use any method to achieve its goals and maintain it's supremacy. Bringing back a once prohibit practice that made many of their Dunmer cousins into rich magnates is not out of the question especially now that the Empire that banned the practice in the first place is under the Thalmor's heel. It also serves as a way to punish dissents if killing them seems too lenient. Seeing as how Khajiits are great smugglers, I could see them taking part in some illegal human trafficking services for the Dominion. If the people brought to them aren't fit to work they could be exterminated as well as those who are too old, weak and sick who cannot be slaves any longer. I know you must be thinking "is this guy a Thalmor posing as a Stormcloak" but these are some of the things I think might be possible.

By the Nine, if a DLC or future game does confirm my hypothesis, then by Talos I swear even Spartacus himself will be in awe at my slave liberation!

Doesn't the Aldmeri Dominion consist of Alinor, Valenwood, and Elsweyr?

Why would the Khajiit be slaves to the Thalmor? Do you have a source?

Nevermind, I read that wrong.

Too be honest I think the Khajiits are more or less being used by them and in the end the Thalmor will turn against them too.

Isn't there a thread in the lore section like this? I thought there was, but I might be crazy.

I don't really see the Dominion embracing slavery like the ancient Ayleids or the Dunmer.

In case Elves generally feel that superior to humans - Like a human to a rat... Would you like a rat slave to handle your food?
