Gun play just doesn't feel... 'oomph'

One of the things that was great about crysis 2 was the gun play, Guns felt powerful, they kicked and reloaded and moved in a very satisfying way.

However in crysis 3 all the guns feel 'meh'.

My best example is the FY71, In Crysis 2 the gun had a phenominal sound, It kicked very nicely and the reload sound and animation was nothing short of bad-ass.

In Crysis 3 however, The gun feels off, Moving whilst aiming down sights makes the gun lift and obscure your aim, the gun swings about un-naturally when aiming giving it a very flimsy feel.

Not only that the sound of gun firing is weak and the reload sounds are pretty awful too.

I heard rumors that Crytek moved their core design team over onto their new F2P game Warface and brought in a different team to handle Crysis 3's core gameplay.

I've had the chance to experience the guns both on PC and on console and I can honestly say neither feels better.

Apart from the bow and the alien weapons, everything feels 'meh' to shoot in crysis 3 :/

It's mainly due to the fact that a lot of people use AA. In C2, since you had a single energy bar, people had to manage it wich leads to people fighting without their armor. That's why C2 guns feels more powerfull (Plus, noobs never knew how to use proprely ...). If you have a soundcard, boost the sound of the bass maybe it's add more BEAST

^Bro, he ain't talking about the damage, it's all about how the weapon acts... and I agree..
Killing floor makes you feel the weapon, especially the pistols.. maybe they should learn from it
