Civil War Aftermath Chapter 2: War of the Sundered Dragon

(Don’t complain about the new colors, pink and purple are amazing)

(All Off topic thing belong in the OOC thread)

WE ARE IMMORTAl (In other words check out our tv tropes page) http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/FanFic/CivilWarAftermath

"In the Shadows of the forest, darkness stalks. Some are fangless, some are faceless. Everyone is darkness…”

-Praefect Lorgar Grimaw

“It’s what we do best, we die standing…”

-General Marius Imperius

“Skyrim will be free!!!”

-Random Stormcloak

Remnants of the Fourth Legion continue to be a painful thorn in the side of High King Ulfric Stormcloak, and High Queen Elisif Stormcloak. However with the help of Captain Baldur Red-Snow, now General Baldur Red-Snow, most resistance in Falkreath hold has been crushed. The IX Cohort of the Sixth Legion was utterly annihilated during the Battle of Camp Rommulas. The only thing standing in the way of a complete Stormcloak victory was a single mysterious legionary, who waged a brutal guerrilla campaign against General Red-Snow's forces on his lonesome for several months, before vanishing without a trace. On another front, the blockade by the Imperial Navy around Skyrim has faced heavy attack from the new and fresh Stormcloak fleet, led by the new High-Admiral Rebec . Various improvements have been issued to the new fleet. However upgrading the navy has cost a great deal, along with arming the young country’s army, as such the High King's treasurer is dangerously close to debt. In other news, a brutal string of attacks on military targets have sprung up in the Whiterun hold, the soldiers responsible have called themselves, “The Sons of Whiterun” and are rumoured to be lead by the exiled Jarl Balgruuf of Whiterun, and the Imperial General Tullius, though none of these rumours can be proven. To add further problems, the Fourth Legion, under General Marius Imperius, are on the verge of reaching Skyrim. Needing more help, High-King Ulfric Stormcloak has requested for General Red-Snow to head back to Solitude and join him on his High Council along with the likes of the legendary Galmar Stone-Fist, and Siltus Fury-Slash, the general left his second, Captain Boldir Iron-Brow, to take charge of the Stormcloak garrison in Falkreath. In Cyrodiil, the Dominion continues to exert its shadowy influence over the Empire's politics, and rumours are starting to spread that Emperor Amaund is being “influenced” by the High Over-Seer, along with the three members of his High Council, High General Titus (Representing the Legion), High Councillor Dixious (Representing the Elder Council) and Spymaster Leoindias. (Representing the Penitus Oculatus). Even worse, the Emperor is expected to announce his intentions to sanction an Imperial lead “Talos” hunting force, codenamed the “Imperial Inquisition”, which will be lead by his young daughter, Princesss Dales Motierre.

Me, ColonelKillaBee, and the Good Doctor are the GM’S.

“The progress astounds me, most RP’s are stuck for years, we made more progress in a few weeks then most do in there RP’S lives!!!”
-ColonelKillaBee, Vice-GM and founding member. Stormcloak Scum-bag

-“I don’t know what’s funnier, you guys in or out of character.”
-UnrivalledAssualt, Member. Imperial Milk-Drinker

-“Very good, and non-biased”
-Celan, Member. Stormcloak Scum-bag.

-“Varied, Wild, and filled with Great Characters.”
-The Good Doctor, Vice-GM and member. Stormcloak Scum-Bag.

You forgot Baldur's quote. Anywho, are weapon enchantments too op? Baldur's getting some new gear since he's a general.

My two cents worth, double enchantments would be OP, but single would be fine.

I don't know, my weapons have enchantments, and no one seems to mind. They aren't great. Just specialized for the type of missions Eduard does. So he has a weak paralysis enchant. Basically it's just powerful enough that it prevents someone from resisting.

My Character:

Spoiler

Name: Vordyn Tordyn

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Race: Dunmer

Faction: Stormcloak Fort Amol Garrison

Rank: The Ashstorm (AKA around Ice-Veins Rank)

Appearance: Vordyn has short, black hair in a ponytail when he is without a helmet, is clean-shaven, and looks relatively clean yet with a look that radiates passion. He is 5''6'

Equipment (Weapons, armor, etc) : Vordyn wields two ebony daggers which he names Dawn and Dusk. They are enchanted with paralysis and fire for Dawn and ice for Dusk. Vordyn also has a pouch which carries his various potions, poisons, and ingredients. Vordyn wears light chitin gloves, boots, and armor with his face being covered by a black leather hood with a small covering around his mouth and nose. He also keeps his father's amulet and ring.

Personality: Vordyn was formerly a very cheerful Dunmer who always wanted to prove himself and got along great with everyone. However, after his father's death, Vordyn grew much more distant. Now, Vordyn focuses on killing as many Imperials as he can. Vordyn is very emotional, so he is prone to passionate outbursts, whether they be angry or proud boasts. Vordyn also tries to make friends, but tends to try and keep himself away from others.

Background/History: Vordyn was born in the city of Blacklight, after Reval met a Dunmer woman who tended his wounds after a particularly bad bandit attack. At first, Reval and the nurse didn't get along, due to Reval's insistance on making sure the bandits never hurt anyone else despite his injuries. Eventually, both fell in love and got married. Vordyn was born a few years later and grew up idolizing his father. Everyday, Vordyn wanted to train with his dad in both the art of swordfighting and the art of spells.

Vordyn trained both of these skills for years, earning his father's approval when he saw how quickly he was learning both swordfighting and spells. Vordyn was also pleased at how quickly he was learning and wanted to constantly prove his skills. Reval had to constantly get Vordyn out of trouble since Vordyn always got into scuffles saying he was defending his family's honor or saying that he was going to be the greatest warrior in all of Morrowind. Reval responded by saying that Vordyn needed to learn patience before he could become a great warrior. Vordyn agreed and continued to follow in his father's footsteps.

When news of the Skyrim Civil War reached Reval, he went there. However, Vordyn wanted to come too, wanting to prove himself to his father. Reval, knowing that Vordyn would follow him anyway, agreed despite his wife's wishes but told Vordyn that he could only stay in the less dangerous posts and only once Reval was certain of what was going on. In return for Vordyn waiting, Reval gifted two enchanted daggers given by an old friend to Vordyn who said he needed some signature weapons.

When the Civil War reached a stable condition, Vordyn was told that he could come. Vordyn immediately joined the Stormcloaks upon coming to Skyrim and was assigned to his father's post. Vordyn was pleased at this and worked to prove himself to the Stormcloaks and his father. He accomplished this with such a quick rate that he earned the nickname of Ashstorm for his stealthy exploits.

After his father's death, Vordyn and his mother were at a loss. Vordyn decided to take a break for a few months to anolyze his situation. After a few weeks, Vordyn made his choice. He asked for a transfer to Falkreath since he was skilled, respected, was good with plants, and he had a stake there on account of his father. His request was approved and Vordyn was transferred to Falkreath where he intends to make his father's memory mean something.

Motives: Vordyn doesn't hate the Empire as much as his father, but after his father's death, he grows to hate legionaires like nothing else. He gladly kills them in memory of his father. Vordyn also fights to prove himself worth of his father's legacy and to prove himself as a worthy warrior. Finally, Vordyn has a strange feeling that something wasn't right with his father's death, so Vordyn goes to Falkreath to try and find some answers to his questions on what really happened to his father.

Skills: Vordyn is exceptionally skilled with blades, but he is very deadly with dual-wielding his daggers which he can attack in quick manner. Vordyn is also an expert at spells, but he doesn't have the endurance of his father so he can only maintain lesser summons like Frost Atronachs. In addition, Vordyn is also knowledgeable about various toxins and potions, so Vordyn has knowledge of various plants and animals while also being able to coat his weapons with deadly toxins or make useful potions. Lastly, Vordyn is very athletic so he can sneak and fight with an almost inhuman set of reflexes.

Okay, put it in spoilers please :)

Lorgar's

Spoiler

Name: Lorgar Grim-maw (Also Known as the “Darkened Archer” or “The Grimm Archer” among the stormcloak army )

Gender: Male

Age: 55 (Looks like he’s in his late 30’s or early 40’s)

Race: Nord (Skaal) (Is also described to have “un-human” strength and speed, also he has advanced regeneration and very accurate eye sight)

Faction: Imperial Legion (Sixth Legion, V Cohort)

Rank: Prefect

Sub Rank: Specialist

Appearance: Tall, Medium Build (Grew thinner when he was in Falkreath by himself) , very pale skin , dark brown hair, finely trimmed dark-brown beard, right face heavily scarred, eye patch covers right eye. He has distinctive “fang-like” teeth.

Equipment (Weapons, armor, etc) : Wears a custom made long-coat made from high quality fabric, along with a pitch-black cloak and hood, that bears a symbol of a purple wolf with broken fangs. He wears dark-leather gloves and leather boots. Whenever he puts up his hood, an unnatural darkness cloaks his face. He bears a large ebony great bow, along with custom-made ebony tipped arrows. He also carries two large ebony knives that he keeps strapped to his legs. Always carries two vials of sand-scorpion venom with him (Imported from Hammerfell). Wears a unique silver ring, that has a wolf carved on it with two amethyst eyes.

Personality: Lorgar is an enigma among the imperial legion. Ever since he returned from Falkreath several months ago, he’s been quite different. He rarely, if ever, speaks. And when he does, it’s in a cold and dark tone, a far cry from the cheerful and talkative officer that was deployed to Skyrim in the first place. He’s also gotten more and more vicious and pragmatic, willingly to use any method able to complete the mission. He has no more qualms with hurting civilians or expending soldiers. When he speaks to nobles and politicians, while remaining courtesy, always uses a voice dripping with absolute venom.

Background/History: Lorgar’s months spent in Falkreath alone, facing against the entire stormcloak force, are virtually unknown to everyone, except Lorgar and General Marius, whom he confided in. After returning to Cyrdoli, Lorgar was court marshalled by High General Titus for “cowardice” and the destruction of his cohort. After a few weeks of debate, Lorgar was found guilty of all charges. He was publicly stripped of his rank of Legate, and the IX Cohort was officially disbanded and left in dishonour. He was given the rank of Prefect and specialist, and then re-assigned to the V Cohort of the Sixth Legion, under General Marius’s command. As afforded by his rank of specialist, he usually operates alone for weeks or even months at a time, doing operations that require stealth, such as scouting enemy territory or assassination. His most notable operations were the uncovering and complete destruction of a stormcloak sympathetic cell in Bruma, and the assassination of a bandit chief, under orders from High-King Ulfric to cause as much chaos as possible in Cydodili. When the legion finally reached the mountain line separating Cyrdoili from Skyrim, Lorgar was deployed as a messenger to King Ulfric, in an attempt to give him one last chance to surrender Skyrim back to the empire.

Motives: Virtually unknown to everyone.

Skills: Archery: Is un-matched with the great-bow, able to snipe a target from 200 yards. Likes to coat his ebony tipped arrows in scorpion poison.

One-handed: Is deadly with his two ebony knives.

Sneak: Can remain completely un-detected in darkness, while able to move around un-noticed in the day light.

Light Armour: Utilizes a custom-made long coat made from high quality fabric, and dark leather under-guard

Miscellaneous: Doesn’t really spend anytime off, and is considered a work-alcoholic by his comrades. Rarely smile’s, and when does, it’s always in a mocking style. Enjoys reading a good deal, while only a rumour, a legionary claimed to see him reading an “romantic” novel labelled “The general and her maid”, (YURI YURI YURI) when questioned by a few soldiers, he claimed it to be “none of there business to what he reads, and hypothetical if he was reading a novel like that, he would be reading it for the story, not for any other reasons”. An attempt to sneak into his tent to confirm this ended with a broken leg and arm. Doesn’t enjoy ale, and when he drinks alcoholic beverages (Which is rare) he drinks mead and wine.
