While on the way to Forgotten Vale (still in Dark Passage) I asked her to wait while I scouted ahead. Went back to get her and I don't have the "follow me" option in her dialogue. I closed the game and restarted, but that didn't help. Sometimes she will pop in when I get near something that causes her to comment on it. This is annoying. I've since moved on into the glade and visited 4 of 5 wayshrines. I really don't want to go back to the save before I told her to wait (about three hours back). Anyway to fix this?

From what I've heard the waiting glitch is common and only way to fix it is by reloading a save...

She reset when I entered the Chantry temple to confront the snow elf's brother. All is fine now, but I won't have her wait anymore.

The 'wait' glitch is pretty infamous, sadly its common as well. Its suggested that you don't have her wait anywhere until the questline is over.
