Rant: Things wrong with Crysis 3 MP (IMHO)

Things wrong with Crysis 3 that is killing the community:

Cloak can be seen through too easily. Being able to see a glowing color around a "cloaked" opponent defeats the purpose of cloak.

Cloak flashes if a grenade goes off within 50M. Two things are wrong with this:
1. Why in God's name does cloak flash in the first place? There is no engineering principle that explains this.
2. Even if there was a logical explanation for this, why would an explosion on the other side of the map affect a player so far away the air wouldn't have even been moved? Yeah... now you see how stupid this is.

SCAR is the most broken weapon in the game; does too much damage per bullet and fires too quickly.

You can snipe with Feline. This is stupid.

You can snipe with SCAR. This is equally stupid.

Sniper Rifles have too fast a fire rate for the amount of damage they do. The fire rates should either be lowered significantly OR not be affected at all by the rapid fire module. It would make more sense to do both.

Laser sight gives auto aim. This makes no sense.

Modules give auto aim. This defeats the purpose of skill play.

Modules encourage hip-fire. Hip-fire should only be effective at extremely close ranges and should be complete trash under every other circumstance.

Modules make hip-fire accurate. This is stupid beyond reason. 'Nuff said.

Lasers make hip-fire accurate. Again: HOW??????? This makes ZERO sense.

Increased fire rates = Increased Damage = Faster Kills. Rapid-fire module needs to go. Period. Most of these weapons kill fast enough as it is; rapid-fire only exacerbates an already idiotic situation.

Modules offer increased fire rates. What. The. ****????

Players are not rewarded for playing Skill reliant weapons like Bow or Grendel, but rather how long they can hold down the trigger with broken perks and modules. Again: What. The. ****???

The microwave gun is capable of killing at medium-long ranges. No. Just... no. CQC? Sure; makes sense; excellent idea. At 20+M? **** you.

The point of Crysis is the suit. Taking away that ability, for however long, defeats the purpose of the game. The EMP grenade makes only a little sense because it can be avoided. Having and EMP burst as a Kill-streak reward is pure lunacy. This needs to be done away with. Preferrably right this damned minute.

Without modules, the following actions are virtually impossible:
? Movement
? Aiming down the sights
? Reloading
? Weapon Switching

You can glitch into rapid fire with Hammer. Think the entire clip in under a second. Yep; not a joke.

There are more, but these are the big ones. The biggest gripe I've heard from the folks I play with are about cloak being worthless because players can too easily see through it. It would help, also, if it didn't diminish quite so quickly during movement; but the major thing is being able to see through it from across the map because you have an assault or sniper scope. That's complete ****. The employee that thought this was a good idea should be fired poste haste. That's the worst, most unforgivable thing you could've done. Then you add insult to injury by making hip-fire viable??? What the Holy **** were you thinking???? In what universe does that even begin to make sense? Do you know what members in the military use laser sights? None; because they're worthless. Laser sights put on a great show for the kids watching the latest action show on the boob-tube, but are complete junk in combat. They give away your position, offer no real benefits whatsoever, leave the user with one more thing to maintain and cause the user to become dependent on them for even the most basic aiming functions. The worst part is: Contrary to popular belief, they aren't used for sniper rifles either; because bullets have drop, lasers don't. Incredible how logic works, isn't it?

Being able to quickly aim down sights on a firearm comes down to a soldier's personal experience and capability. It would make sense to have quick ADS as a level-able stat, but as a **** module? You've got to be kidding me.

Weapon switching at appreciable speeds is another thing that comes down to a soldier's experience and personal capability. Again, it makes sense to have it as a level-able stat, but as a module? You've lost your goddamned minds.

Newbies are quitting in droves - as fast as they get the game - because of modules being so incredibly broken that if you aren't playing certain ones and have them fully leveled, you simply don't stand a chance against veteran players. If Crytek ever wants to see true success, you people are going to have to start doing things that make sense and don't radically unbalance game-play.

At this point in time, about the only way to balance things out would be to give everyone Lv 1 "Weapon Pro" and Lv1 "ADS Enhance" (doing away with them as separate, level-able modules permanently) as permanent modules while allowing them to have the 3 slots for modules that actually offer the player the ability to change one's play-style.

And the rapid-fire module needs a severe nerf. Max for that module should be 15%. Not start at 15 and make your way to 20+. That's idiotic.

Server admins abusing rights for RANKED servers isn't helping matters either. They're banning players for stupid garbage like specific module use or (this one is my favorite) being part of a squad. Yeah, I'm looking at you DDD. That's admin abuse, no matter how you look at it. You want servers where people can't squad up or have certain modules? Have them un-ranked. If not, the STFU and deal with it. Truthfully, I don't blame you as much as I blame Crytek for allowing you to do this.

It's stupid garbage like this that ruins an otherwise fine game for new players. Which is why it's hard to find populated servers.
