Okay, I DLd some sort of file a week or so ago that did something to my map...it changed it from the colorful version I had on, back to the boring vanilla colors. I think it may have done something to the textures? Does anyone know how I can get back to my colored version again?

should be easy to fix I think. Just search on TESnexus for a map. I use Elsweyr and it has a few map options for it. And one of them is a colored map. I'm sure you can find a colored map on Nexus even if you don't have Elsweyr, and then just copy the mod files over. Then it should overwrite whatever files and you should have your colored map back.

I was going to say this might be caused by bad load order, but I assume you already tried that, yes?

Load all mods in TES4Edit, go to Worldspace > Tamriel, then if you click on Tamriel you'll see on the right which mods edit it. For entry Map it will probably look something like:
Mod1 Mod2 (that gives coloures map) Bashed Patch (that draws original entry from mod1)

Either drag & drop entry from mod2 to Bashed patch or change load order so that your coloured map mod loads later.

Umm... what map mod has an .esp? Do you mean local map or world map? If it's local map, then it's just an .ini setting (though why you would want the full color local map is beyond me), and if it's world map, then it's just a texture. There shouldn't be any load order at all...

Some maps require .esps as they change the size or something or other.
