I am a complete novice so I appologize if this is a dumb question.

I have all the DLC installed and am trying to add Carved Nordic Armor to an NPC in Vanilla.

How would I go about doing that? It won't let me load the Skyrim, Update and Dragonborn ESMs at the same time.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You need to go into the editor ini located in your skyrim directory, and add in the line to allow multiple master files to be loaded. I think it was bAllowMultipleMasters=1
