Is it just me or has Bethesda always liked Nords? I mean, for Morrowind the released Bloodmoon which was fairly Nord-centric, Oblivion had Nord architecture and Nords in Bruma and Skyrim is a Nord game. Compared to the other races they have had a strong presence in every game since Morrowind.

Dont know about nords but they sure have or had untill now...something for Imeprials. But it's also easier to do something with Nords who are humans and not elves because working with elves requires imagination and thus more work. I think.

Yes. They like lord of the rings, the vikings, the big hammers, the dragons, the big "cool shiny trendy" things. I can bet when they do a game in Elsweyr it will be about the Imperials invading the elves, not about the cats.
