If I use common sense...

I plan on starting a new RP as a light armored Nord Archer. I plan on playing it as realistically as possible. One problem I see coming is if I join the Companions (which seems reasonable if they would allow it ... of course they allow it). If given the 'option' to become a WW I will choice not to. Fine, I'm still in the Companions, but does Aela the Huntress actually remain a WW in the Underforge for the entirety of the game? That's my archery trainer, and an interesting character. Are her and Skjor basically stuck in there forever, or does the quest eventually get reset and they come out?

I know I can just not meet Skjor, but my character wouldn't just do that. They would have no reason not to meet him. But refusing to allow myself to be cursed, become an abomination, just for a little more melee power with my bare hands ... sorry but that is common sense. Honestly at this point in the game I wish I could go find the SH and join them, but that would have allowed options, which for some reason Bethesda was completely against when making most of the faction quest lines.

So is that really it? They are just stuck forever? I'm on the PC so is there any mods that may fix this?

Yes, I think Aela remains in the Underforge until you take the ceremony. I don't know if any mod does anything about it since I can't see anyone bothering to release such a menial mod. You'll probably have to deal with it yourself.

Here is what you should do:

Become a werewolf, complete the quest line, and have Aela follow you when you train your archery using her.

Ask her to trade items and take back the money.

It is not really an exploit if you think about it because that money goes into her inventory after she takes it.
