Out of quests... help

Post » Thu Mar 28, 2013 1:58 am

Hi

I am now level 43 and I have completed the main quest some time back. I have destroyed the Dark Brotherhood (I did not want to murder) but joined the Thieves Guild, I have also completed the Companions questline and now can I do Animal Extermination and other such missions. I have also completed the Thieves Guild questline and now get odd jobs from Delvin and Vex. I am stuck on a Bedlam Job from Delvin which needs me to start Dragonborn because it points to an uncharted area and [edit] can't [edit] be seen on the Map. I must also mention that I have Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC's installed.

The thing is I have run out of quests to do without having to do generic Companions missions like Animal Extermination or generic Thieves Guild missions like Burglary Job. Is there any way I can proceed without having to start Dawnguard or Dragonborn ?

thanks in advance,
Xarin.

You're going to run out of quests eventually. It's bound to happen.

I guess after that...max your skills? Not much more to do after all the quests are done. Maybe find some other hidden caves you might have missed.

Quit that job and start another.

Just because you have to go to Solstheim doesn't mean you need to start Dragonborn

Or you could just start dragonborn...seeing as you have no other quests to do?

Why did you buy the DLC if you don't want to start them?

My advice: either do the DLC or make a new character (maybe try to be more specialized this time?).

Btw, you didn't mention the College of Winterhold questline, but I suppose you've finished that too?

Ok I will go to Solstheim and see what happens.

I did complete the college of Winterhold questline. I think I will start playing Dragonborn,

Another DLC related question I have is whether contracting disease from Vampire means I will turn into one? I don't want to join Vampires or become one, so will I need to go to a temple(or use Cure Disease Potion) often during Dawnguard or what ?

You're heading into spoiler territory here. So...
Spoiler
During the Dawnguard quest line you will come into contact with vampires quite a bit (obviously), and probably contract Sanguine Vampiris a few times during your travels, but if you loot the body of every dead Vigilant of Stendarr you come across you will have more than enough cure disease potions to see you through (at least I did).

yeah, you'll have to go to a temple, or loot/make as many cure disease potions.
