What would you name this type of character build?

Major Skills:

1. One-handed, for killing mages, dragons and other tougher enemies.

2. Two-handed, for reaping lesser creatures and light armor enemies (mainly bandits).

3. Destruction, for long-ranged firepower.

4. Restoration

5. Illusion, for crowd controls.

6. Enchanting. It is essential for Destruction users.

7. Alteration.

Minor Skills:

1. Speech. Mainly for RP purpose. Plus it provides extra money for getting more training secessions.

2. Smithing. Weapons need to be tempered.

No armor, no companions, barely use potions.

I'm wondering if anyone tried this build (or the ones that is similar to this)?

So far I'm level 50 and having a really good time. Because my character is so well-rounded, there's no such a situation that I cannot handle.

More importantly, the build is so diverse, which made it fun for a long playthrough.

Not all Battlemages, some wear only robes like what the Greybeards wear.

Stretched thin and dead.

Honestly for many reasons I could see why this wouldn't work unless maybe you play in the easiest settings.

Not really. I mean, lore-wise Battlemages can simply be mages who are geared for combat, more particularly specialists in Destruction. Oblivion's Battlemage has no armour skill.

Probably. But as a player who dedicated to this game for too long, I found playing this build on master difficulty is not that hard.

In fact, once I got most of the perks that are essential and properly enchanted gear, the difficulty became modest instantly.
