HI there

i bought my crysis 3 from a retailstore and got the DVD. For some reason it seems i still neded to download the game from origin which is sad. after downloading and the automatic patching i tried to start the game.

The splash screen with the crysis dude holding the bow appears for some seconds then dissapears.
having taskmanager open i see that the Crysis3.exe*32 process appears, grows until it takes ~90k memory and then it dissapears. No error message.

any help appreciated

Have tried following :

Restart of computer, Origin, Explorer
Running as admin, compatibility modes
with/without network connection
disabled "enable origin ingame"

Oh and i must say the fact that playing the pirated version (that isnt encumbered by origin) must be 10 times easier to play makes me wonder why people wonder why people pirate games....

oh and is it illegal to buy a game, then apply the crack etc. to get a working product?
