Vikings (2013) has Skyrim vibe : V

Anyone else watching this tv series http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2306299/? It has a distinct something that reminds me of Skyrim and the Nords and makes me wanna play: big men with big weapons, the earl's court, strong women who don't hesitate to fist fight their husband when necessary :hehe:

I've seen people asking how to relight their interest in playing the game and I think this movie is good, better than Game of Thrones for this purpose. It totally worked for me.

Two or so weeks ago there were three threads about the whole thing.

I don't watch tv anymore, so I'll take everyone's word that its a good show and will probably inspire unoriginal character builds just like Game of Thrones and The Hobbit did.

TBH I don't feel much of a resemblance, maybe because the movie depicts their seafarer life quite nicely whereas Skyrim's water is DEAD. But yeah, I'll give them that Ragnar's wife is freaking hot and could be mistaken for the bar maid in the early screenshots :teehee:
