I've somehow screwed up the script and can't advance. Is there a way to go back further than the 5 or 6 save points it gives you in the load menu? Thanks.

As far as I know, the only way back is a previous save. If you did not save far enough back (which has happened to me), you may have to start over.

I only save manually 5 times and overwrite them with newer saves. That gives me 3 auto-saves, 1 quicksave, and my 5 manual saves. That usually covers it, but sometimes... not

It's that part diplomatic immunity. I later realized i had to give the guy who's name eludes me at the moment my gear so i could later grab it from that chest. I didn't and when i got to that point I had nothing to fight off the guards with. So i died over and over and finally gave up and used god mode and toggle collision. That screwed the script up and i could not open the trap door even tho i had the key. I really don't think I'll start over, so i figured i'd see if it's possible before move on to another game.
