Living at Vlindrel Hall in Markarth the kid tells me "Banning said I could come play with his dogs. I want a dog". So I go see Banning and pay 500 gold coins and bring Vigilance home. Sure enough, the kid won't acknowledge him. I then have to go away for 24 hours and come back again. "A doggy! Papa, I didn't know you had a doggy!... The kid now has a pet dog like she wanted. A few minutes later I hear "stupid dog". That got me mad but it didn't end there. Moments later she says to me "Banning said I could come play with his dogs. I want a dog". WTH!? I just got you a dog and he's right there! Come on Bethesda!

Yes, annoying, I know. I got the same song and dance from sofie, except the stray dog I brought home had actually stopped following me back around Windhelm and vanished for parts unknown. So I'm just RPing for now that the dog in question ran away shortly after I brought him home. Maybe Sofie forgot to feed him.

My kids haven't said anything. Sofie brought home a fox and she also wanted Meeko. I felt bad for the little guy, all by himself after his master died.

Sofie now has 2 pets. Samuel didn't want Vigiliance.
