about alchemy and enchanting

Ok so I realize you can just make potions to fortify enchanting and and use the new strong enchanting powers to have stronger fortify alchemy and then use the new stronger potions to create even stronger fortify enchanting and then you can make the even stronger enchanting create even more stronger potions. You can repeat this infinitely. Is there no end to this? Or is this just unlimited power?

It is unlimited... well until you start netting negative values.

If you intend on doing it, use it in a "responsible" way. Or else you'll just break the game to levels of stupidity. Once your potions start hetting 200-500% that's usually at the borderline of overpowered. I recommend you don't exceed that if you want the game to remain somewhat challenging.

When you make 'Fortify Enchanting' potions or 'Fortify Alchemy' enchantments in a loop, you will eventually hit the game's cap.

You will not get a cap if you use the Fortify Restoration exploit which is a glitch.

Edit: Actually, I think the Fortify restoration glitch was fixed.

Fortunately there's now a use for messing around with this stuff (apart from just exercising your curiosity). Fighting on Legendary difficulty with Legendaried main skills... Fun times. :D
