Hi all,

I'd stopped playing Skyrim for a month or two, and came back to play again - just working through side quests.
Anyway, wanted to buy a house in Solitude but had a couple quests to do before I could, one was to 'bring Toryggs War Horn to the shrine of talos'

A few days ago when I'd started playing again, I was clearing out my inventory and sold / dropped Toryggs War Horn. I can't remember what I did with it, I obviously assumed it was some useless item!

I'm playing on Xbox by the way so don't have the use of the console menu. Is there anything I can do to retrieve it besides scouring all of Skyrim?

You pretty much answered your own question, I'm afraid.

Go back a few saves and find the last place you had it in your inventory, it may jog your memory as to where you dropped it. Failing that you have a big search on your hands.

The Horn Isn't a quest item i.e undroppable ?

Turns out, it's still in my items. Not sure how I missed it but it was at the very bottom of my 'Misc' section.
