How to put frost enchantments on Stalhrim? : V

When i go to the enchanter I can't put the frost enchantment on my stalhrim armor. Does anyone know how to do it?

Are you trying to put the Resist Frost enchantment or the Frost Damage enchantment on your armor?

Frost Damage wouldn't work, as it's only intended for weapons.

If you're doing Resist Frost, do you have filled soul gems on hand?

Yes I do. It says that I can't put "Resist frost" enchantment to this item

Welp. I'm out of ideas. I haven't experienced this problem and I've pretty much exhausted my resources. Sorry I couldn't actually help.
