So I'm playing Skyrim right now, and I noticed something very odd. You know how mage hoods have that fur on the end? Well, on this character I just made, I got the hood out of the locked cell inside Helgen, and when I put it on him, I noticed the fur is gone. I've only seen hoods without fur in the PC game, so I just assumed it's a mod or something.

So then I'm like "wat" and check one of my older characters, and the fur is still on. So now I'm horribly confused. I really hate that fur look, but why isn't it gone on older characters? This new one is male by the way, the older one is female. Both Altmer, but I doubt race and gender has anything to do with it. It isn't part of the patch is it? I never saw anything about them fixing hoods when I read up on it, and I actually don't know if it's out on xbox yet.

Fur on female, no fur on male

The model for a male player sadly does not have the fur on the trim, whereas the female hood does.

This is much like the Ancient Nord helmet for both sixes. Males have curved horns and the female appears to have antlers.

This is a good spot for me to point out that there is not enough fur trim or even fur cloaks in the clothing department. Half the province is a frozen tundra...more fur is a good thing.
