Added beast boots mod and after my Argonian able to wear chitin boots no others are allowed. It says beasts may not wear boots. What do I do now?

It adds boots for beast in the different armor styles. It doesn't alter the originals. Read the readme. It tells you where you can find/buy them.

Oh boy...so I can't wear any boots I want? So much I will miss out on!
I wonder why the chitin boots fit then?

It's been a while since I used it, but did you get the boots after loading the mod? If I'm remembering correctly, they have to be a different version because they remove the foot-part. They're technically leggings, not boots. If it changed all the boots, all the npcs would be walking around in bare feet.

There was a different mod where you could get a smith to covert any boots you had into leggings. I think it was Adul's Leggings, but I can't find a link to it.
