I once killed a man because he did not pay me enough to complete a quest given to me by him. He was poor.

I also killed off Grelod but this had no effect on morale at the orphanage and once killed a Companion member just for the sake of completing Daedric quest. Once I killed a chicken in Riverwood thinking that there would be no reaction. The Riverwood people attacked me for that. I didn't realize that.

Playing a rather evil character and encountered what I believe is/was the bounty glitch. I hit Riverwood and the town folk attacked me. The guards did nothing, only the civilians attacked. I killed them and then found out how to manage the glitch. After some consideration, I decided to leave them dead instead of going back to a previous load (I would not have lost much as I'd just left Whiterun) and managing the glitch.

The children in Riverwood were never the same. Some of thier comments to me after that were funny.
