So I'm walking around whiterun in my full stormcloak general what ever armor, Ebony blade in hand and I'm going for a nice little stroll. Suddenly a guard calls out to me "You're that new member of the compaions... so what, you fetch the mead?" No... no I'm the leader of the companions, I've been the leader of over a hundred hours irl, I'm not a new member!!

oh and people keep saying "watch the fire" I'm a nord, no magic here only a sword!

Why... Bethesda can make radiant AI and quests, they can make a massive world but they can't make the people remember I'm leader of the companions, I'm the Dovhakin and I DON'T USE MAGIC! It gets me so angry.

that and the guards are the worst in the series. What happened to useful guards how tell you directions of the town? Now they give lame one liners that are ALWAYS WRONG!

is it just me or do these things anger anyone else?

It's even better when you visit the college only once for the MQ and the guards say "you're that one from the college...heard about you". Meanwhile I'm in Whiterun and both Thane and Harbinger

I'm with you. I hate it when people say

"So you're that one from the college, heard about you"

And I'm like, "That ONE from the college? Hell, I run it!"

Also, I hate when people say "that looks like a dangerous spell" when I don't even have any spells out.

I've noticed they do that to me if there is a summon, it doesn't have to be in your hand, so it might be that or perhaps another type of buff spell that you have on you at the time.

Though there seems to be a lack of logic sometimes so it could just be random gibbering.

Don't know if you're on PC or not, but if you are there is a mod that helps with this, after installing it they actually acknoledge me as the harbinger.

If CEO of Bethesda passes you on the street you can yell at him 'So you work at Bethesda , so you what ... fetch the cofeee ?' LOL There could be 'n' number of important people passing by you on the street without you realizing its them.

I have heard that so many times as being the Harbinger it took me by suprise yesterday as I was passing a Whiterun Guard. The guard said something like&--#60; Its a honor to meet the Harbinger. I was so shocked, I forgot why I was in Whiterun in the first place.
