The first one is them wondering what they'll find, being confident about handling the guards, etc. The second is them talking about one of them being chewed on by the skeletal dragon. You can find the corpse of the Argonian mage but none of the scenes play out after that. I think there were three, with the last being Savos Aren standing around by himself. I guess that pretty much tells you what happened, but its just frustrating to not get the whole story.
