This is what happens: http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s57/larson1988/F1D27C88-CE52-4C74-B7F4-B5BB88633C93-409-0000003B48B7A31A.jpg, and i have to pull out the plugs and all to be able to restart.

And this happens regardless whether or not mods are installed.

Anyone experienced this before?

Does this happen after you've played for some time? If so, it could be caused by your graphics card overheating. Are you monitoring temperatures?

Yes, it usually happens after 2-3 hours of playing. And no, i don't monitor temperatures.

Yeah, that's an overheated vidcard.
(I've seen that before, heheh...)
Take the vidcard out - I bet it's all clogged up with mung. :)

What about the reset button, or holding the power button for 5 seconds ?

Artifacts are often caused by heat - suggest you check the video card & clean it if its dusty. If it still plays up, maybe install a utility that monitors GPU temperatures.

Well said :tops:

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to start. Chronic overheating will kill your graphics card and other PC components. If the computer is a desktop, open the case and check inside for dust build-up; if there's a bunch of dust all over the components, clean them off with some canned air. If the overheating continues, you'll need to check the fans for proper operation and replace any that aren't working, and maybe even add a chassis fan to improve airflow. If it's a laptop, check the air vents for dust build-up and use canned air to clean them out the best you can. You can also get a cooling pad to help get rid of heat.

Yep, it's a desktop! And as soon as i've installed the new Nvidia driver i'll switch off my PC and open it up.
